BREWING: so far we have only dared try it as filter, but it’s been amazing, the kind that people are telling their friends and colleagues about. If you want to amplify the acidity and get more starburst vibes, then go for a very coarse grind and a fast brew time of 2 minutes. Alternatively, you can get more sweetness and a richer body with flavours like foam bananas and chocolate by using an immersion brewer like the French Press, Clever Dripper or Aeropress.

For best results we recommend purchasing whole bean and grinding fresh before brewing. If you don’t have a grinder, we can grind to your preferred brewing method prior to shipping.

We roast Tuesday to Thursday. Orders are shipped every Thursday. Orders must be placed by midnight on Monday for same week dispatch. We ship via Royal Mail first class.

A very special coffee that tastes more like juice than coffee! It’s super fruity and delicious but not overly acidic, balanced by a lot of sweetness and a rich chocolate finish.

About the farmer: Oscar Fernando Hernández, an industrial engineer and former naval non-commissioned officer, is currently the leader of the 3 generation family project. Under his watch Los Nogales farm has invested in technology and pioneered research and innovation to improve coffee production systems, pulping, drying and transportation, and the quality of the coffee itself.

This coffee has undergone 190 hours of fermentation in 200 lts bins for improved temperature regulation and homogeneity in the fermentation process. The coffee is then taken to the washed using eco-washer, which allows the farm to use the least amount of water possible whilst removing the honey that is the product of fermentation. The residues are reused as fertilisers to create a more cyclical ecological system.
